1. Membership Management System
The Peel Project Community Gym uses ClubRight as its official membership management system.
All memberships, payments, Direct Debits, card payments, bookings, access permissions, and attendance records are administered through ClubRight. By joining the gym, members agree to comply with ClubRight’s systems and processes as part of their membership.
2. Membership Registration
All members must complete registration through ClubRight, either online or with staff support.
Members must provide accurate personal information, including contact details and date of birth.
Memberships are non-transferable.
Failure to provide accurate information may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.
3. Membership Types & Access
Access to the gym is determined by the membership type held and is controlled through ClubRight and the gym’s door entry system.
Membership categories include:
Free Women’s Sessions (programmed, supervised sessions only)
Free Children & Young People’s Sessions (Ages 8–17) (programmed, supervised only)
Over-45s Membership
General Membership
Teenagers Membership
Members may only access the gym during the time slots allocated to their membership. Access outside permitted times will not be granted.
4. Payments & Direct Debits (ClubRight)
Paid memberships:
All paid memberships are processed via Direct Debit or Card Payment through ClubRight.
Direct Debits are collected monthly in advance.
Membership fees will continue until cancelled in accordance with Section 5.
Failed or missed payments:
If a Direct Debit fails, ClubRight may automatically retry the payment.
Repeated failed payments may result in temporary suspension of access.
Outstanding balances must be cleared before access is reinstated.
The Peel Project reserves the right to restrict access where payments are overdue.
5. Cancellations & Membership Changes
Membership cancellations must be made via ClubRight, either online or with staff support.
A minimum of one month’s notice is required.
Memberships cannot be paused or transferred unless agreed in exceptional circumstances.
Free session access may be withdrawn if repeated non-attendance occurs, to allow fair access for others.
6. Bookings, Attendance & Fair Use
Some sessions (including free women’s and youth sessions) may require advance booking through ClubRight.
Members are expected to attend booked sessions.
Repeated no-shows may result in booking restrictions or removal of free access.
This ensures fair access in a high-demand, community-led facility.
7. Door Entry & Access Control
Entry to the gym is managed via a secure door entry system.
Members must not allow others to enter using their access (tailgating).
Sharing access cards, codes, or app access is strictly prohibited.
Any misuse of access systems may result in immediate suspension or termination of membership.
8. Health & Fitness Responsibility
Members confirm that they are medically fit to exercise.
Any health conditions must be disclosed during registration.
Members exercise at their own risk and must follow staff guidance.
9. Safeguarding & Supervision
Children and young people may only attend during supervised sessions.
Parents/carers are responsible for punctual drop-off and collection.
Safeguarding policies apply to all members and sessions.
Breach of safeguarding rules will result in immediate suspension.
10. Behaviour & Conduct
Members must:
Treat staff, volunteers, and other members with respect
Use equipment safely and correctly
Follow instructions from staff at all times
The Peel Project operates a zero-tolerance policy toward violence, harassment, discrimination, or criminal behaviour.
11. Facility Rules & Closures
The gym may close temporarily for maintenance, safety checks, or events.
No refunds are issued for short-term closures.
Members must respect signage and restricted areas.
12. Photography, Data & Privacy
Photography or filming is not permitted without permission.
Personal data is stored securely through ClubRight and managed in line with GDPR.
Members may receive service-related communications via ClubRight.
13. Liability
Members use the facility at their own risk.
The Peel Project is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
14. Changes to Terms
The Peel Project reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions to reflect:
ClubRight system updates
Legal or safeguarding requirements
Operational changes
Members will be notified of significant changes via ClubRight or email.
As part of terms of conditions, every member signing up to The Peel Project Community Gym and Youth Hub also agrees to the code of conduct below.
Member Code of Conduct
Our gym is a community-led, inclusive, and safe space for everyone. By using this facility, you agree to:
Respect Others
Treat staff, volunteers, and fellow members with respect
Be welcoming to people of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities
Use the Space Safely
Use equipment correctly and return it after use
Follow staff instructions at all times
Keep It Safe
Do not share access or allow others to enter with you
Report any safety concerns to staff immediately
Zero Tolerance
We do not tolerate:
Violence or threats
Harassment or discrimination
Drug or alcohol misuse
Damage to property
Community Responsibility
This gym exists for the community. Behaviour that puts others at risk or damages trust may result in suspension or removal of membership.
